Federal contracts geared towards small businesses are nothing new, but they’re often forgotten about. To extend an additional hand, the government allocated more funds for small business products and services under the Recovery Act. However, one should move with haste as the act will expire on Sept. 30, 2010.
While you may think there’s little possibility of eligibility, don’t be so quick to dismiss your small business. Check out all the offers in your area. You may find contracts that are related to your field to extend your business. The government is actively encouraging more minority and women owned business participation.
