What do T.I. and Lindsay Lohan Have in Common?

by Minority Fortune

Bad behaviors are costly and can even be deadly. As we’re easing into the fall season, there seems to be an influx of hardly wealthy behavior. The path has been littered with offenders all year. You would think these famous individuals would have learned the lessons set by their peers. Also, these two examples have already been in trouble with the law numerous times. Yet foolish behaviors prevail, leaving their wealth in jeopardy. If these behaviors continue, these individuals will be broke within a few years.

Bad behaviors can indeed be categorized as hardly-wealthy behavior. In these three examples, these individuals will have to pay legal fees, get possible jail time, and experience a decrease in income due to these bad behaviors.

T.I. Caught with Drugs on Probation

Fresh from the pen, T.I. only made it a few months before he was back in trouble. He and his wife were arrested on September 2nd for possession of illegal drugs, allegedly ecstasy. Now he is looking at additional jail time. If we were T.I., we would have made it a habit to stay at home and read Minority Fortune all day(a little bias, we know).

Diagnosis: Bad environment. Keep doing the same things, and you can expect the same results. If you didn’t spend your time in jail planning for a big transformation in your life, then it was a waste of time. And, it looks like you’ll get a second time in prison so that you can reflect on your behavior.

Lindsay Lohan’s Failed Drug Test

Lindsay Lohan isn’t even long removed from the four walls of jail and rehab. Without skipping a beat, she’s already failed her mandated daily drug tests.  Unlike last time, she’s publicly admitting her mistake:

Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, hat I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result.

Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future.

This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences.

I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful….Thank you all!!!

Diagnosis: Change of environment. Drug addictions are a disease. While it is important to lead a normal life as much as possible, one cannot do so in an enabling environment. Just as people with diseases take every precaution to lead cautious lives with occasional professional supervision, drug addicts must do the same. Since she admits that it is a disease, she’d better seek counsel around the clock. The severity of her condition will need it.

In Conclusion

If these two do not shape up, their lives will forever be in peril. Bad decisions do come with bad consequences. Eventually, they will reflect themselves in these individual’s wallets. Let’s hope they get it together before they’re at rock bottom.
