50 Cent May Be in Violation with the SEC for Penny Stock

by Minority Fortune

50 Cent made news last week for pairing up with penny stock company H&H Imports. Penny stocks are stocks that usually trade below a dollar and are primarily traded through the OTCBB and Pink Sheets system. They’re extremely volatile and and regularly manipulated by the companies themselves by paying stock advisors to promote the stock. While pairing with a penny stock in itself is not a crime, how he decided to promote that partnership just might be one. He made several tweets to his followers that could be interpreted as a direct manipulation of stocks:

You can double your money right now. Just get what you can afford

They are no joke get in now

These tweets are a big red flag and could have you facing serious scrutiny from the SEC who are now looking into the situation. According to Fox News, the rapper was given 30 million shares, which earned him $8.3 million last Monday. The stock closed at 39 cents, up from 10 cents.

50’s lawyer’s must have grilled him on his blunder because he lated followed up with politically correct tweets:

I own HNHI stock thoughts on it are my opinion. Talk to financial advisor about it.

HNHI is the right investment for me it may or may not be right for u! Do ur homework.

Not sure if this is enough to save his behind from an investigation as the damage was already done. He really should have done his due diligence before flying off the handle on Twitter.

It’s important to note that we’re not admonishing 50 Cent in anyway. The road to wealth is filled with mistakes and learning. With big rewards come great risks. 50 Cent is aggressively navigating his road to wealth. For that, we cannot fault him. We advise 50 Cent to do his homework when getting into new business venues. The stock world is filled with strict guidelines. He should have been briefed better by his lawyers. Violating them can lead to hefty fines and even jail time. Shaquille O’ Neal was once in partnership with a penny stock and had some scrutiny on him. Perhaps 50 Cent can contact Shaq for some advice.
