These people weren’t in need of money, as they used the credit card for trivial expenditures such as flights, retail purchases, and movie tickets. There was not one purchase towards the basic needs like food and shelter. This was an example of hardly-wealthy behavior at its finest. Even with temporary access to large reserves of credit, it was still spent on the most useless purchases ($500 at Toys R Us, really?). What a waste of brain power!

5 Things They Should Have Stolen Instead:

1. Information: Instead of preying upon innocent people’s money, they should be preying upon library books on topics such as financial independence, job skills, economics, and world news.
2. Morals: If they had some of these in the first place, they would have never attempted to steal property that didn’t belong to them in the first place. It’s time for them to seek out words of wisdom from the world’s leading philosophers and philanthropists.
3. Time: They should certainly steal more time to put towards productivity. They should try using their newfound free time to help others. Volunteer at a shelter, feed the homeless, or donate to a charity.
4. Tyler Perry’s Attention: If the thief had access to Tyler’s confidential credit card, then they likely had access to Tyler Perry. If so, they should have strived for a conversation with the director. It’s easy to be handed a fish (wealth), but if you take the opportunity to learn how to fish, you’ll never be hungry. What a wasted opportunity.
5. Their Own Finances: If they have any credit cards, which we doubt, they should all be stolen and burned. No one with discretionary funds for movie theatres and toys should be holding onto currency or credit of any sort. For their own benefit, they should toss their own cards to the wind.
