One of the biggest mistakes I see young people making when they join the work force is not dressing appropriately. Young guys' shoes, belts, and ties won't match, shoes are scuffed and not shined, shirts are wrinkled, etc. You don't have to spend a fortune to look good, just take some pride in your appearance.
